April Akane's Chapter is the first chapter of the first volume and the overall first chapter overall of the Joukamachi no Dandelion manga series. It was first serialized in the August 2012 volume of Manga Time Kirara Miracle!.

Overview

The Sakurada siblings are ordered to catch a hawk by their father. Akane Sakurada and Shuu Sakurada go head to head, only for Shuu to attempt to teleport Akane away. It results, instead, with him teleporting away Akane's skirt. She then gets caught at an awkward angle which a security camera catches, and her panties are shown on live tv.

Akane heads to school with her sister, Aoi Sakurada. She then finds out that the position of the security cameras has moved and needs to find an alternate route to school.

On the way back from school with Aoi, Akane encounters a pickpocketer. She then chases after him, however, the thief takes a hostage. Akane then utilizes her ability, and propels herself off a telephone pole. She punches the man straight in the face, knocking him out.

Her purse rescuing leads to Media attention and praise, all of which are unwanted by Akane. At home, the most recent poll results for the election are broadcast, and Akane's mother, Satsuki Sakurada tells Akane she has a fan club.
